Breakfast. Depart for the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Visit (with local guide) the former concentration and extermination camp, built by the Germans during the Nazi occupation of Poland. Here, during WWII, the Nazis exterminated more than 1 million people, most of them of Jewish origin. Today it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. On to Warsaw. Arrival. In the morning visit (with local guide) the most important monuments of this city, such as the Gothic Cathedral of St. John and the Barbican Gate; we cross the Old City Square (Rynek) with buildings of XVII and XVIII centuries and we see the Holy Cross Church, where the heart of Frederic Chopin is kept.
